Domestic Card Scheme (AfPay)

APS has successfully launched Domestic Card Scheme with the support of the Da Afghanistan Bank (DAB) to enhance and promote electronic payments and financial inclusion. The new payment scheme is branded “AfPay” and will compete in the local market with other local and international payment schemes. The Domestic Payment Scheme will not only provide affordable, safe, and efficient alternative to the existing banked population in the country, but also provide an opportunity to offer lower cost to the unbanked citizens thus bringing them in the sphere of Financial Inclusion.
